The trumpet is a brass instrument in the band. The earliest trumpet dates back to 1500 B.C. Some of the earliest trumpets were bronze and silver horns from Tutankhamun's grave and bronze lurs from Scandanavia. Another example of an early trumpet is the metal trumpets from early China.
